A day at the park

Today we went to the park. I wanted to sniff.......

But of course my Mom just wanted to take our beautiful portraits!

It was all going well until the old man got sleepy.....

And Remmy started falling asleep on the log.... At least then Mom let me go have some fun

First I wrestled John.....
Then I breathed in his face!

I guess my breath must be pretty bad....

And all the while Remmy was posing in the trees. What a poser!

I love the park!

Its HOT!

It's HOT today! So Mom got out the pool! It sounded super fun and I took a big drink as soon as she filled it!

Then something sprayed me in the face! So not nice!

So I shook my zombie wetness at it and went back to drinking.

Then it sprayed Rembrandt and I in the face! Remmy was not happy!

So he lay in the pool and gave it a dirty look hoping it would stop.

And of course, once he gave the big goofy Remmy grin, it did.

I wasn't so lucky! The monster sprayed me again!

So I tried to bite it!

 And then bite it again!

Then I just gave up and shook on him.....Water is exhausting!

Congratulations Levi!

I got you when you were just 8 months old. Look how cute you were! (still are I'm sure) I can still remember that text message:
"There's a female golden retriever available as a transfer pup, do you want her?"
Of course I did!

You left in October, all grown up, or so you thought. You went off to "college to do amazing things! (and not follow in your buddy Rembrandt's footsteps)
I can't wait to see you again next weekend at graduation with your new
partner and to wish you luck with your new life in Maryland!
You  are officially all grown up now!
I love you little girl....and no matter where you are, you will always be my travel size buddy!

Love,
Your proud Mom

Dear Rob.....

Dear Rob,

My Mom did not expect to be spending the eve of her 27th birthday saying goodbye to you..... But since we don't control those things, we said goodbye and went to the beach afterwards, ran around (I did) and took photos (Mom did) since we know that you always loved her puppy photos.
Here is Ocho running as fast as he can! (to the end of the leash of course because he's a puppy in training and not allowed to be free)

Here is the nutty puppy looking kind of like a mermaid as he emerges from the waves!

Here is me airborne with my new friend the Great Dane. Can't catch me!

And of course... Mom's specialty and the photos you loved so much.  A puppy portrait!
I even wore my Sheriffs bandana just for you!

So old man....while we weren't expecting you to leave so soon, the gifts you left us we will  forever be grateful for! I'm sure you are having a blast in heaven and I really hope they let dogs in (you think you can work something out with the big guy?)

Love,
Rembrandt (and Sheila)

Ginormo Tongue!

Yesterday I was playing at my friend Granger's house. He has a big backyard and its super fun. We were having a great time until I took a little break and everyone started making fun of how big my tongue is!
I didn't find that very amusing! I'm only 6 months old! I still have a lot of growing to do. I'll grow into it.....right?

They all got real quite when I threatened to SLURP them with my big tongue! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA (evil puppy laugh)

The Levi Report..... Levi is still in phase 8 waiting to be matched with her new partner....Keep your fingers crossed she makes it into the March 10th class! Mom says that would be the best birthday present ever!

Good Luck Laura!!!

I love my Aunt Laura! Today she is going to ride her bike in something called "Track Worlds" I don't really know what that means but it sounds really cool! Mom says if she does really well she could go to the some sort of Olympics! (whatever that is)

So I made her a sign to show her how much I love her! I want her to do REALLY WELL!!!!!
I kind of got tired in the middle of our photo shoot and had to take a nap though!

Good Luck! Ride Fast! We are rooting for you up here in Napa!
