Flying Away

 

Last weekend was a lot of fun!!!

It started off REALLY early (like 3 am) and we drove to this place called an airport.

 

Then the people put this weird leash on me and I had to sit while mom walked through a weird machine....and then I walked through it!!! 

 

Good thing we didn't beep like the people behind us and get taken to a room!!!!

 

Then we had to wait with a bunch of people in a room until the "plane" got there.

I learned later that "planes are these big scary things you have to climb stairs to get on while they growl at you! Good thing the lady waiting for us was super nice and patted my head or it wouldn't have been worth it!

 

Once we got on it was no big deal though! Just a little rumbling and my ears felt a little funny!

 

 

The people said it was a big deal and we had to take a photo when we got off....I did not want to....

 

 

I spent most of the weekend with a puppy sitter. 

(It was awesome. They had dogs that would actually play with me!)

Because the people had some event to go to... But I did get to do some fun stuff with them.....

I also got to watch the fireworks at Downtown Disney. Initially I thought they were cool. Then I went to sleep...Whooops! Maybe Disney needs to make their show more golden friendly

 

We flew home on Sunday. But we got to the airport kind of early so I got to human watch for a while. People are weird!

I took the plane photo by myself this time! And I even smiled!

 

Crazy traveling weekends take a lot out of a puppy...so I tried to sleep on the people....

 

 But I ended up curled up on the floor from take off to landing.....SOOOOOO tired!!!

But a super fun weekend!

Wine Tasting with Old Friends

 

On Saturday the people took me wine tasting to this really pretty place. 

 I think they called it  The Terraces Winery.

 

 

My old buddy Hensley was there. He's almost 2 now and much more fun when he stays with 

his family!

 

 

We got lots of pets (cause we are so handsome). Look how well I trained that young guy....going in for the kill with the ladies! I got my fair share too. One guy even commented that "there was NO WAY I was 14". Guess I had my young face on!

 

 

We of course took photos....

 And I begged for ice from random people.... It was hot!!!

 And of course they gave in to my cute face and gave me some.....YUM!!!!

Happy 14th Birthday to ME!!!

Sunday Feb 7 was my 14th birthday!

I was soooooo excited about it that I decided to throw a party!

 There were snacks....

And decorations...

 

CAKE!!! (there were puppy cupcakes too!) 

And of course hats!!!

None of my friends wanted to wear hats....and they were a little camera shy but I'm glad they came and shared my steak and cupcakes with me!!!  (they even brought me presents! I'm a lucky guy!)

We partied late into the night... Just like my old college days!!!

 On Sunday I of course had to have a photoshoot.....cause I'm just handsome like that.....

The Parade of Roses

The back of the photos say 2002. She doesn't really remember what year it was (but look how cute and little she was) But remembers it being a ton of fun!

 Yep my Mom was in the Rose Parade with Guide Dogs for the Blind the first time they had a float.
(I think they had 2 or three) Sadly that year there was a mechanical problem on the float and they only made it through the cameras not the whole parade but Mom said it was still fun!

 

She even got to work on the actual float!

 And I swear the big dog is a golden.....Front and center!!! Represent!!!

Mom held a little puppy named Ingrid and sat next to the daughter of the CEO (at the time).  

Maybe one day I'll get to be on the float too with a harness on like the big dogs!!!!

The Christmas Story

 

Last week the people took me to the store to buy a hat for our long trip down south for Christmas!

(I am not a fan of hats)

So we drove down....And we all went to sleep on Christmas Eve... 

 

Isaac was soooo tired...

(he didn't sleep the whole way there..dork)

 

I slept with a naughty toy....

 

And Remmy slept with his eyes open 

(I think he was hoping to see Santa!) 

 

On Christmas morning there were presents EVERYWHERE!!!! 

Remmy even dressed as a present!

(The people always say he's the best present ever)

 Isaac even opened his OWN presents!!!!

Remmy got a bone!

(he wasn't super excited)

 But he was super excited about the HEDGEHOG!!!!

(I think its like the millionth one we own

that I'm not allowed to play with)

 Isaac got one of those logs you pull squirrels out of

He went NUTS!!!

 

I GOT A BONE!!! 

 

And then Isaac tried to steal it!!!!

 

So I stole his toy he opened up on Christmas Eve!!! HAHAHAHA

  

Then Isaac opened up more presents!!! 

And was exhasted!!!!

This Tree is JUST Right!!!

 

So the people cleared out this empty space in one of the rooms in the house 

(one I'm not allowed in very much....hmmmmm) 

I wasn't sure why, but I smiled for the camera anyway!

Apparently in December around "Christmastime" ( whatever that means... Rem says it means they dress you up in funny hats.....who knows) The people go and pick out a tree to bring into their house. 

Weird right? You can't pee on it if it is inside! But I was on board for the fun! 

So we went to the place and started looking......

This tree was MUCH to big!

 

This one was way too small! Come on people show me something I can work with!

 

 Finally! This one was just right....So we took him home! The people hang lights and  other weird things on them! This Christmas this is sooooooo odd!

 Searching for trees is exhausting!
