1. Must be over 7 years old to reside in the resort
(puppies are sometimes allowed but for a maximum of 14 months)
2. Blonde hair is preferred but other colors may be allowed on a case by case basis
3. Must have a cool backstory
4. Humans are allowed if they bring the proper amount of cookies
Current Residents
Isaac Newton
"Newty Pants"
10 years old
Isaac was able to enter the resort early at 18 months (pass granted by the Remmy)
He is a rescue from Homeward Bound and was a bit of a looney toon when he arrived.
He's only half looney now!
Likes: Food, going places, snuggling on the comfy sac
Dislikes: Loud noises, change, being left by himself
Ellie
"Smelly Ellie"
10 years old
Ellie came to the resort from Taiwan. We aren't sure of her story but we are sure its cool.
Mind of her own is an understatement but under that tough exterior is a marshmallow!
Likes: attention on her own terms
Dislikes: having her photo taken
Wilson
"Starving Street Dog"
Umm your guess is as good as mine? years old
Wilson also came to the resort from Taiwan also. They said he was 3 but we aren't so sure. He lived on the streets in Taiwan and does a really good "starving street dog" impression still (even though he's a bit chubby now)
Likes: food
Dislikes: hot spots
Phantom
"Phannieman"
7 years old
Phantom is a retired guide dog. We raised him as a puppy and he worked for some years
in Texas before coming home to us.
He's prepping to be the second agility superstar in the house.
Likes: going to the barn (or anyplace for that matter) and people
Dislikes: Ummmmmmm
Azara
"Zuzu"
9 years old
Azara is a retired guide and the most recent resident of the resort. We raised her as a puppy and she worked in Florida and California before coming home to us.
She's still as goofy as ever all these years later!
Likes: stuffed toys, soft beds
Dislikes: ummmmmmm
Traveling Residents
Garou
"Rou"
9.5 years old
Garou is one of our traveling residents. He doesn't technically live here but sure spends a lot of time here! And that great cause we love him!
Likes: Balls and killing toys
Dislikes: Dogs and humans getting in his face
Gone But Not Forgotten
"Remmy, Yellow Dog, Stinkledo...."
Remmy was the first resident and namesake for the resort.
He loved everyone and we miss him everyday...
Likes: Steak and people
Dislikes: Kale
Griff
"Spiffy Griffy"
Griff was a rescue from Homeward Bound. We rescued him not long after we lost Remmy. He was a breeder in a puppy mill and in pretty rough shape. I'd told Rem before he left that I was going to devote my life to taking care of old unwanted dogs and make them feel loved and wanted in their golden years. Griff was the first but definitely not the last of them.
Likes: soft toys from the Bark Box.
Dislikes: his previous life and cancer
Pierre
"Peepers"
Pierre is another Taiwan dog. We don't know much of his backstory but he was the sweetest guy in the world! His last meal before we left was and In and Out burger and some french fries.
